The 16,000-square-foot mansion had been on the market since March.<\/p>\n<p>Located in Brossard\u2019s\u00a0exclusive Domaines de la Rive-Sud neighbourhood, the home boasts four bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, high-tech security system and a \u201cspectacular\u201d wine cellar, according to real-estate agent\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/josephmontanaro.com\/en\/\">Joseph Montanaro.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But what sealed the deal, in the end? Was it a signed hockey stick, autographed jersey or primo tickets to a Habs game?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1096 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/josephmontanaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3324-alex-parent-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/josephmontanaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3324-alex-parent-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/josephmontanaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3324-alex-parent-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/josephmontanaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3324-alex-parent-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was extra furnishings,\u201d said Montanaro, who works with\u00a0Sotheby\u2019s International Realty. \u201cThe buyers are from out of town and they don\u2019t have much furniture. The furniture (at Pacioretty\u2019s house) was beautiful, high-end furniture that was picked to go with the rest of the house. We included several pieces to seal the deal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though the buyers are from abroad, Montanaro says they\u2019ve been living in Montreal for some time and after learning of the Canadiens\u2019 cult status in the city, \u201cthey were very impressed that it was Mr. Pacioretty\u2019s house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt every price point, buyers are very picky but at this price point, they have certain expectations,\u201d said Montanaro, who has sold homes <a href=\"http:\/\/montrealgazette.com\/news\/celine-dion-finally-sells-her-florida-estate-at-a-huge-loss\">for C\u00e9line Dion<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/montrealgazette.com\/sports\/hockey\/nhl\/p-k-subbans-montreal-condo-for-sale-reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">P.K. Subban.<\/a> \u201cHouses are very expensive but this was really, a high-quality property. Anyone who knows construction knows that this is as good as it gets.
